Summary
Vulnerability in Redhat (CVE-2026-10533). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
A flaw was found in OpenShift Container Platform. Completed pods with restartPolicy: Never do not count toward ResourceQuota pod limits, and Kubernetes events are not quota-scoped. A non-privileged user who can create pods in a namespace can exploit this to generate a large volume of events that accumulate in etcd, causing API server performance degradation across the cluster.

-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'Redhat' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
Redhatを grep し、稼働しているサービス・バージョンを把握する。 -
2Post-deployment verification verify
Confirm patched version is live in productionパッチ適用後、ステージングで PoC または同等の悪用パターンを再現して脆弱性が閉じたことを確認。本番ではアクセスログ・WAF でアラート再発が無いか継続監視。
