Original description

The description as published by the source.

Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.464, the GET /api/v1/deployments/{uuid} endpoint allows any authenticated user to access deployment details belonging to any team, bypassing team-based authorization. The $teamId is extracted from the authentication token but never used to scope the database query. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.0.0-beta.464.

🔧 How to fix

Update to 4.0.0-beta.464.

🛡️ Workaround

Until the patch is applied: disable the affected feature, apply WAF rules, or restrict access via network ACLs.

🔍 Detection

Search webserver/proxy logs for unusual GET /api/v1/deployments/{uuid} requests with malformed payloads or SQL meta-characters. Run grep -r 'Coolify' . against your dependency files (package-lock.json, requirements.txt, go.sum) to find affected services.

Response actions

Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order

  1. 1
    Identify exposure identify
    grep -r 'Coolify' . | grep -v node_modules

  2. 2
Hunt for indicators of compromise detect
    grep 'GET /api/v1/deployments/{uuid}' /var/log/nginx/access.log | grep -E '(unusual_payload|sqli_pattern)'

  3. 3
    Apply patch patch
    Upgrade Coolify to 4.0.0-beta.464

  4. 4
    Post-deployment verification verify
Replay attack against GET /api/v1/deployments/{uuid} on staging to confirm patch closes the vector
