Vulnerability in tls (CVE-2026-45389)
Summary
Vulnerability in tls (CVE-2026-45389). Confidential information can be exposed externally. Mitigation: upgrade to 2.1.0, b1a598ef9be83a4f8b0f73a4e2d9730d50906049 or later.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
In OCaml-TLS before 2.1.0, the server implementation does insufficient checks of the certificate provided by the client (when doing client authentication), which allows impersonation with certificates that are not meant for client authentication (because of KeyUsage and ExtendedKeyUsage).

Response actions
Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order
-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'tls' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
2Apply patch patch
-
3Post-deployment verification verify
