Summary
Vulnerability in jsrsasign (CVE-2026-4598). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 11.1.1 or later.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
Versions of the package jsrsasign before 11.1.1 are vulnerable to Infinite loop via the bnModInverse function in ext/jsbn2.js when the BigInteger.modInverse implementation receives zero or negative inputs, allowing an attacker to hang the process permanently by supplying such crafted values (e.g., modInverse(0, m) or modInverse(-1, m)).

Response actions
Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order
-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'jsrsasign' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
2Apply patch patch
-
3Post-deployment verification verify
