Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2022-49247)
Summary
Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2022-49247). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 4.14.276, 4.19.238, 5.4.189, 5.10.110, 5.15.33, 5.16.19, 5.17.2 or later.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: stk1160: If start stream fails, return buffers with VB2_BUF_STATE_QUEUED
If the callback 'start_streaming' fails, then all
queued buffers in the driver should be returned with
state 'VB2_BUF_STATE_QUEUED'. Currently, they are
returned with 'VB2_BUF_STATE_ERROR' which is wrong.
Fix this. This also fixes the warning:

Response actions
Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order
-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'Kernel' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
2Apply patch patch
-
3Post-deployment verification verify
