Summary
Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2022-49558). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 5.4.262, 5.10.198, 5.15.45, 5.17.13, 5.18.2 or later.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_tables: double hook unregistration in netns path
__nft_release_hooks() is called from pre_netns exit path which
unregisters the hooks, then the NETDEV_UNREGISTER event is triggered
which unregisters the hooks again.

Response actions
Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order
-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'Kernel' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
2Apply patch patch
-
3Post-deployment verification verify
