Summary
Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2023-53324). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 4.19.295, 5.4.257, 5.10.195, 5.15.132, 6.1.53, 6.4.16, 6.5.3 or later.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/msm/mdp5: Don't leak some plane state
Apparently no one noticed that mdp5 plane states leak like a sieve
ever since we introduced plane_state->commit refcount a few years ago
in 21a01abbe32a ("drm/atomic: Fix freeing connector/plane state too
early by tracking commits, v3.")
Fix it by using the right helpers.

Response actions
Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order
-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'Kernel' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
2Apply patch patch
-
3Post-deployment verification verify
