Summary
Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2024-27000). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 4.19.313, 5.4.275, 5.10.216, 5.15.158, 6.1.88, 6.6.29, 6.8.8 or later.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
serial: mxs-auart: add spinlock around changing cts state
The uart_handle_cts_change() function in serial_core expects the caller
to hold uport->lock. For example, I have seen the below kernel splat,
when the Bluetooth driver is loaded on an i.MX28 board.

Response actions
Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order
-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'Kernel' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
2Apply patch patch
-
3Post-deployment verification verify
