Vulnerability in AutoGPT (CVE-2025-32394)

Summary

Vulnerability in AutoGPT (CVE-2025-32394). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 0.6.32 or later.

Original description

The description as published by the source.

AutoGPT is a workflow automation platform for creating, deploying, and managing continuous artificial intelligence agents. Prior to 0.6.32, there is a DoS vulnerability in AITextSummarizerBlock. Malicious users can amplify their input. For example, if a malicious user inputs 10K of content, the server will consume 50G of memory, eventually causing memory resources to be exhausted, resulting in DoS. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.6.32.

Response actions

Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order

  1. 1
    Identify exposure identify
    grep -r 'AutoGPT' . | grep -v node_modules

  2. 2
    Apply patch patch
    Upgrade AutoGPT to 0.6.32

  3. 3
    Post-deployment verification verify
Confirm patched version is live in production
