Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2025-38324)
Summary
Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2025-38324). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 5.4.295, 5.10.239, 5.15.186, 6.1.142, 6.6.95, 6.12.35, 6.15.4 or later.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mpls: Use rcu_dereference_rtnl() in mpls_route_input_rcu().
As syzbot reported [0], mpls_route_input_rcu() can be called
from mpls_getroute(), where is under RTNL.
net->mpls.platform_label is only updated under RTNL.
Let's use rcu_dereference_rtnl() in mpls_route_input_rcu() to
silence the splat.

Response actions
Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order
-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'Kernel' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
2Apply patch patch
-
3Post-deployment verification verify
