CVE-2026-102596 medium CVSS 4.3

Vulnerability in Nango (CVE-2026-102596)

Summary

Vulnerability in Nango (CVE-2026-102596). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Exploitable via GET /api/v1/integrations/.

Original description

The description as published by the source.

Nango is an open-source platform for connecting agents and products to third-party APIs. Prior to 0.70.9, on accounts with RBAC enabled through a plan with has_rbac=true, two private flow-read routes, GET /api/v1/integrations/:providerConfigKey/flows and GET /api/v1/flow/:flowName, apply webAuth but omit can({ action: 'read', resource: 'flow', scopedBy: envScope }). A same-team user with the development_full_access role can therefore request env=prod and read production integration flow metadata or named flow configuration despite being denied by guarded production routes. Both controllers use res.locals.environment from the authenticated account, so the issue bypasses the production role boundary but does not cross tenant boundaries. This issue is fixed in version 0.70.9 and managed-1.5.11-0.70.8-aae30d044d7e229807d51a3957c212f3fb689e1a

🔍 Detection

Search webserver/proxy logs for unusual GET /api/v1/integrations/ requests with malformed payloads or SQL meta-characters. Run grep -r 'Nango' . against your dependency files (package-lock.json, requirements.txt, go.sum) to find affected services.

Response actions

Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order

  1. 1
    Identify exposure identify
    grep -r 'Nango' . | grep -v node_modules

    リポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で Nango を grep し、稼働しているサービス・バージョンを把握する。

  2. 2
Hunt for indicators of compromise detect
    grep 'GET /api/v1/integrations/' /var/log/nginx/access.log | grep -E '(unusual_payload|sqli_pattern)'

    アクセスログで GET /api/v1/integrations/ への異常なリクエスト (不正な認証ヘッダ・SQLメタ文字)を過去 30〜90日分捜索。WAF/SIEM があれば該当パスのアラート発火履歴を確認。

  3. 3
    Post-deployment verification verify
Replay attack against GET /api/v1/integrations/ on staging to confirm patch closes the vector

    パッチ適用後、ステージングで PoC または同等の悪用パターンを再現して脆弱性が閉じたことを確認。本番では Step 2 と同じログクエリでアラート再発が無いか継続監視。
