Information Disclosure in FileRise (CVE-2026-104110)

Summary

Vulnerability in FileRise (CVE-2026-104110). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure.

Original description

The description as published by the source.

FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.24.0, FileRise Pro /api/pro/portals/get.php returns a configured client portal's full internal record to an unauthenticated caller who knows or guesses the portal slug. The response includes the internal storage folder path, client contact email, form settings, and upload-policy details, while the separate publicMeta.php endpoint intentionally exposes only curated branding data. Exploitation requires the Pro add-on and at least one configured portal. This issue is fixed in version 3.24.0.

Response actions

Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order

  1. 1
    Identify exposure identify
    grep -r 'FileRise' . | grep -v node_modules

    リポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で FileRise を grep し、稼働しているサービス・バージョンを把握する。

  2. 2
    Post-deployment verification verify
Confirm patched version is live in production

    パッチ適用後、ステージングで PoC または同等の悪用パターンを再現して脆弱性が閉じたことを確認。本番ではアクセスログ・WAF でアラート再発が無いか継続監視。
