CVE-2026-104816

Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in Misskey (CVE-2026-104816)

Summary

Cross-site scripting in Misskey (CVE-2026-104816). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure.

Original description

The description as published by the source.

Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. From 12.0.0 until 2026.7.0, the RSS components display feed item links from configured feeds without verifying their URL schemes. Missing URL scheme verification allows an attacker who controls feed content to provide an unsafe-scheme link that causes script execution when a user clicks it in an RSS widget. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.0.

  2. 2
    Post-deployment verification verify
Confirm patched version is live in production

    パッチ適用後、ステージングで PoC または同等の悪用パターンを再現して脆弱性が閉じたことを確認。本番ではアクセスログ・WAF でアラート再発が無いか継続監視。
