Original description

The description as published by the source.

Nezha from 2.2.5 before 2.3.15 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows authenticated users to retrieve third-party credentials because listDDNS omits WebhookURL and WebhookRequestBody redaction. Admins or PATs with nezha:ddns:read scope can call GET /api/v1/ddns to read cleartext tokens embedded in every user's DDNS webhook profiles.

Response actions

Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order

  1. 1
    Identify exposure identify
    grep -r 'Nezha' . | grep -v node_modules

  2. 2
Hunt for indicators of compromise detect
    grep 'GET /api/v1/ddns' /var/log/nginx/access.log | grep -E '(unusual_payload|sqli_pattern)'

  3. 3
    Post-deployment verification verify
Replay attack against GET /api/v1/ddns on staging to confirm patch closes the vector
