Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in Hippoo Mobile App for WooCommerce (WordPress plugin) (CVE-2026-111601)
Summary
Cross-site scripting in Hippoo Mobile App for WooCommerce (WordPress plugin) (CVE-2026-111601). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
The Hippoo Mobile App for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'token_id' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.12.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The URL path regex constrains the path segment to word characters, but WP_REST_Request's query-string parameter precedence allows a ?token_id= value to override it and reach the handler verbatim, bypassing the regex constraint entirely.
