Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2026-23173)
Summary
Vulnerability in Kernel (CVE-2026-23173). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 6.6.123, 6.12.69, 6.18.9 or later.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/mlx5e: TC, delete flows only for existing peers
When deleting TC steering flows, iterate only over actual devcom
peers instead of assuming all possible ports exist. This avoids
touching non-existent peers and ensures cleanup is limited to
devices the driver is currently connected to.
BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000008
#PF: supervisor write access in kernel mode
