Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in Coolify (CVE-2026-34171)

Summary

Vulnerability in Coolify (CVE-2026-34171). Confidential information can be exposed externally. Exploitable via GET /invitations/{uuid}.

Original description

The description as published by the source.

Coolify is an open-source and self-hostable tool for managing servers, applications, and databases. Prior to 4.0.0-beta.471, the GET /invitations/{uuid} endpoint can perform a state-changing password reset using an attacker-known invitation UUID, allowing an attacker who can cause a victim to visit the crafted invitation URL to reset the victim account password to a predictable value. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0-beta.471.

Response actions

Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order

  1. 1
    Identify exposure identify
    grep -r 'Coolify' . | grep -v node_modules

  2. 2
Hunt for indicators of compromise detect
    grep 'GET /invitations/{uuid}' /var/log/nginx/access.log | grep -E '(unusual_payload|sqli_pattern)'

  3. 3
    Post-deployment verification verify
Replay attack against GET /invitations/{uuid} on staging to confirm patch closes the vector
