Information Disclosure in 4gaBoards (CVE-2026-53959)
Summary
Vulnerability in 4gaBoards (CVE-2026-53959). Confidential information can be exposed externally. Exploitable via GET /api/users.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
4gaBoards is a boards system for realtime project management. Prior to 3.3.9, 4gaBoards allows any authenticated user to enumerate account information for every user through GET /api/users and retrieve arbitrary accounts through GET /api/users/:id. The users/index and users/show actions rely only on the default is-authenticated policy in server/config/policies.js, and server/api/controllers/users/index.js returns the result of sails.helpers.users.getMany() without requester-specific authorization or response sanitization. Responses expose email, phone, organization, name, isAdmin, ssoGoogleEmail, ssoGithubEmail, and other SSO-linked email fields, including data for administrators. This enables instance-wide user enumeration, privacy loss, and targeted phishing reconnaissance. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.9.

-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r '4gaBoards' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
4gaBoardsを grep し、稼働しているサービス・バージョンを把握する。 -
2Hunt for indicators of compromise detect
grep 'GET /api/users' /var/log/nginx/access.log | grep -E '(unusual_payload|sqli_pattern)'アクセスログで
GET /api/usersへの異常なリクエスト (不正な認証ヘッダ・SQLメタ文字)を過去 30〜90日分捜索。WAF/SIEM があれば該当パスのアラート発火履歴を確認。 -
3Post-deployment verification verify
Replay attack against GET /api/users on staging to confirm patch closes the vectorパッチ適用後、ステージングで PoC または同等の悪用パターンを再現して脆弱性が閉じたことを確認。本番では Step 2 と同じログクエリでアラート再発が無いか継続監視。
