CVE-2026-56277 medium CVSS 6.5

Vulnerability in flowise (CVE-2026-56277)

Summary

Vulnerability in flowise (CVE-2026-56277). Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure. Mitigation: upgrade to 3.1.2 or later.

Original description

The description as published by the source.

Flowise before 3.1.2 sets Access-Control-Allow-Origin to a hardcoded wildcard (*) on its text-to-speech (TTS) generation endpoint (packages/server/src/controllers/text-to-speech/index.ts), independent of the server's configured CORS policy. This bypasses the server's otherwise restrictive default CORS configuration (getCorsOptions()) and allows any webpage to make cross-origin requests that trigger TTS generation using stored credentials, enabling drive-by cross-origin credential abuse.

Response actions

Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order

  1. 1
    Identify exposure identify
    grep -r 'flowise' . | grep -v node_modules

  2. 2
    Apply patch patch
    Upgrade flowise to 3.1.2

  3. 3
    Post-deployment verification verify
Confirm patched version is live in production
