OS Command Injection in radare2-mcp (CVE-2026-6942)
Summary
OS command injection in radare2-mcp (CVE-2026-6942). Successful exploitation can lead to full system takeover.
Original description
The description as published by the source.
radare2-mcp version 1.6.0 and earlier contains an os command injection vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by bypassing the command filter through shell metacharacters in user-controlled input passed to r2_cmd_str(). Attackers can inject shell metacharacters through the jsonrpc interface parameters to achieve remote code execution on the host running radare2-mcp without requiring authentication.

-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'radare2-mcp' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
radare2-mcpを grep し、稼働しているサービス・バージョンを把握する。 -
2Post-deployment verification verify
Confirm patched version is live in productionパッチ適用後、ステージングで PoC または同等の悪用パターンを再現して脆弱性が閉じたことを確認。本番ではアクセスログ・WAF でアラート再発が無いか継続監視。
