Original description

The description as published by the source.

U-Boot before 2026.10-rc3 with CONFIG_IP_DEFRAG enabled contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the __net_defragment() function in net/net.c. Response actions

Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order

  1. 1
    Identify exposure identify
    grep -r 'U-Boot' . | grep -v node_modules

  2. 2
    Post-deployment verification verify
Confirm patched version is live in production
