DEBIAN-CVE-2019-25076 (openvswitch)
Attack vector: remote (network-reachable) / unauthenticated / no user interaction
Plan: 1) Audit SBOM/dependencies, 2) Stage→prod upgrade, 3) Add WAF/proxy monitoring on affected endpoints, 4) Hunt IOCs in logs.
Refs: see the GHSA / vendor advisory / patched release linked on this page.
A vulnerability (unclassified) exists in openvswitch.
Check the vendor advisory for the affected versions of openvswitch.
Severity: ?. Risk of unauthorized operations or information disclosure.
Update to the patched release per vendor advisory.
Until the patch is applied: disable the affected feature, apply WAF rules, or restrict access via network ACLs.
Search webserver/proxy logs for unusual request patterns matching this CVE's known IOCs. Run grep -r 'openvswitch' . against your dependency files (package-lock.json, requirements.txt, go.sum) to find affected services.

Original description The description as published by the source.
The TSS (Tuple Space Search) algorithm in Open vSwitch 2.x through 2.17.2 and 3.0.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (delays of legitimate traffic) via crafted packet data that requires excessive evaluation time within the packet classification algorithm for the MegaFlow cache, aka a Tuple Space Explosion (TSE) attack.
