Original description
The description as published by the source.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: sco: Fix a race condition in sco_sock_timeout() sco_sock_timeout() runs asynchronously and lock_sock(sk). If the socket is closing while the timer is running, it holds the same lock (lock_sock(sk)) twice, leading to a deadlock. CPU 0 CPU 1 ==================== ====================== sco_sock_close() sco_sock_timeout() lock_sock(sk) // <-- LOCK __sco_sock_close() sco_chan_del() sco_conn_put() sco_conn_free() disable_delayed_work_sync() lock(sk) // <-- SAME LOCK Fix this by moving disable_delayed_work_sync() outside of lock_sock(sk), ensuring that no lock_sock(sk) is held before sco_sock_timeout(). Response actions
Concrete steps and command examples for SOC/SRE teams to execute in order
-
1Identify exposure identify
grep -r 'linux' . | grep -v node_modulesリポジトリと本番環境の依存ファイル (package-lock.json / requirements.txt / go.sum / Gemfile.lock 等) で
linuxを grep し、稼働しているサービス・バージョンを把握する。 -
2Apply patch patch
Upgrade linux to 7.1.5-1ステージング環境で 7.1.5-1 に上げて回帰テスト → 本番反映。回帰テストはアプリの主要ハッピーパスを含めること。
-
3Post-deployment verification verify
Confirm patched version is live in productionパッチ適用後、ステージングで PoC または同等の悪用パターンを再現して脆弱性が閉じたことを確認。本番ではアクセスログ・WAF でアラート再発が無いか継続監視。
